There are two types of murder mystery game. The traditional game is a role play. A fixed number of players (often 8) dress up and act the part of the characters in a murder mystery. If your guests enjoy play acting, these games are excellent, though they are quite expensive at around £15-30 ($25-50), with the exception of our bargain Dressed to Kill range at just £7.99 ($16.99).
The alternative is the set of games in our Ultimate Organizing a Murder ebook. These don't involve role play - all the players are solving the murder as individuals or teams. This makes them much more flexible. You can play with any number of players, and have an event that's anything from a simple treasure hunt to a complex murder mystery.
